# Portal Shipments

> Follow every package on your account in the customer portal: carrier, tracking number, delivery status, expected delivery, and the carrier's scan history.

Use the **Shipments** page when you want to know where your packages are. It lists every tracked package on your account with its carrier, tracking number, and delivery status, and opens the carrier's scan history for any one of them.

**Where:** Customer Portal > Shipments

You can also arrive here from the **Recent Shipments** card and the **Track Shipment** shortcut on the portal Dashboard.

## Before You Start

* Sign in to the customer portal. There is no separate permission for this page: every signed-in portal user on the account sees the same shipments.
* A package appears here once the seller ships it with a tracking number. Orders that have not shipped yet are not listed.

## Find A Shipment

1. Select **Shipments** in the portal navigation. The page is titled **Shipments** with the line "Track all your shipments and deliveries".
2. Read the three cards at the top: **In Transit**, **Delivered**, and **Active Shipments**. They count the shipments in the list you are viewing.
3. Find your package by the order number in the **Order** column. The page has a search box for order or tracking numbers, but it does not narrow the list yet, so scan the list or use your browser's find command instead.
4. Read the row for your package: **Order**, **Carrier**, **Tracking #**, **Status**, **Shipped**, and **Est. Delivery**.
5. Use **Previous page** and **Next page** when the list runs longer than one page.

## Open The Tracking History

1. Select **View tracking** on the row.
2. The row opens a panel headed "Tracking your order #" and the order number, with the current status in large type and a date line such as **Delivered** with a date, **Out for delivery**, **Expected delivery by** a date, or **Shipped on** a date.
3. Review the carrier card: the carrier and service, a status pill, the tracking number, a copy button, and a link that opens the carrier's own tracking page in a new tab.
4. Read **Tracking history**: each carrier scan with its status, location, and time, newest first.
5. Select **Hide tracking** to close the panel.

### Actions On A Shipment

| Action | What it does |
| ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Copy button beside the tracking number | Copies the tracking number so you can paste it elsewhere. The button briefly shows **Copied**. |
| Carrier link icon (**Track shipment**, **Open carrier tracking page**) | Opens the carrier's own tracking page for the package in a new tab, for carriers the portal recognizes. |
| **View tracking** and **Hide tracking** | Opens and closes the package's tracking history. |

## Delivery Statuses

The status comes from the carrier's scans and moves forward as the carrier updates the package.

| Status | What it means |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Pending** or **Pre Transit** | A label exists, but the carrier has not scanned the package yet. |
| **In Transit** | The carrier has the package and it is moving. Counted in **In Transit**. |
| **Out For Delivery** | The package is on the delivery vehicle today. Counted in **In Transit**. |
| **Delivered** | The carrier reports the package delivered. Counted in **Delivered**. |
| **Failure** or **Returned** | Delivery failed or the package is going back to the seller. Contact the seller. |

**Active Shipments** counts packages with a tracking number that are not yet delivered and have not failed.

| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **No shipments found** with "Your shipments will appear here once orders are shipped" | Nothing on the account has shipped with tracking yet. | Check back after the seller confirms shipment. |
| **No shipments found** with "Try adjusting your search" | The account has no tracked shipments and there is text in the search box. | Clear the search box. The search box does not filter the list, so an empty list means nothing has shipped with tracking yet. |
| **Awaiting first carrier scan.** | The package has tracking but the carrier has not scanned it yet. | Check again later. The first scan usually appears after pickup. |

| **Portal authentication required** | Your portal session ended. | Sign in again. |

## What This Page Changes

Nothing. The Shipments page is read only: it does not change the order, notify the seller, or contact the carrier on your behalf. Tracking updates arrive from the carrier and appear here as the seller's system receives them.

## Common Scenarios

### The carrier's site shows a newer scan

The carrier's own page can update before the portal receives the next scan. Treat the carrier page as the live source and check the portal again later.

### An order shipped in several packages

Each package is its own row with its own tracking number and history.

### Tracking stops updating

Carriers sometimes go a day or more between scans. If there is no scan for several days, or the status shows Failure or Returned, contact the seller.

### You only need to follow one package

The tracking link in your shipment email opens the same history for one package without signing in.
